I'm Ermy Pedata, your host for this Italian event. I'm an award-winning Italian teacher and certified language coach, passionate about helping Italy lovers go from "un caffè, per favore!" to real Italian conversations.

With qualifications like a BA in languages, a master's in translation, a PGCE, and a Neurolanguage Coaching® certification, I've been teaching Italian since 2012 to students worldwide.

More importantly, though, I've walked the language-learning path myself. I speak five languages confidently—Italian, Neapolitan, English, Spanish, and French—and I'm currently learning Japanese.

I've shared my expertise at universities, podcasts, and global conferences like The Polyglot Conference and The Language Show.
